Moses Obi-Adigwe 22 has won Nigerian Idol music reality TV show season 3 tonight at The Nigerian Idol studio!
It's been six months of suspense as thousands who initially auditioned for the show were dropped and evicted until it remained only Moses and Debbie Rise.
D'banj made a surprise appearance
on stage and performed his verse of
Naeto C's 'Tony Montana' remix,
concluding his set with his own single
'On top of the world'.
Also one of the judges and Afrobeat
legend Femi Kuti and his band gave a great performance to entertain the studio audience.
Pop diva and former West African idol
contestant Omawumi also gave a
superlative performance of her
'Bottom belle' single and immediate
past winner of Nigerian Idol season
two, Mercy.
Moses aka 'Teddy Bear' goes home with the sum of 15M Naira and a brand new SUV while the runner up Debbie aka 'Mixmaster'walks away with sum of 1M and a KIA RIO automobile.
Moses became the first male to win the show after Yeka Onka won the first season and Mercy Chinwo, the second season.
