NEW MOVIE ASSOCIATION INTRODUCES IT'S CALLED "EASTERNWOOD"

Having studied the success of yoruba movie sector (ANTP), the hausa movie (kallywood) and the speed at which the akwa ibom/cross-rivers language films are raising, it is heart braking that igbo language films which started the NOLLYWOOD, is hardly on the movie shelves.
so many igbo films organisations had been launched in the past,but hardly did they produce any successful igbo films before going scattered. The need to revive the igbo language films and making stay favourably compete with the world class films,has driven Torty Joseph, popularly known as DONTORTY into birthing what he calls the EASTERNWOOD. The Easternwood is a revolution in NOLLYWOOD,because Nollywood started with an Igbo language films and this newly introduced caucus will produce all genres of igbo films. Speaking with Torty Joseph, the initiator of the caucus said "We do not believe in mediocrity,quality is our watch word,ranging from actors , equipment,crew and we do not compromise quality. Our first film AFO IME (The pregnancy) and it will be released soon. I believe it's a good starting point and a good statement to begin with. We intend to premier our next film and also go into cinema houses across Nigeria and Europe. It is titled IHE OSO (stampede).Ihe oso will parade blazing upcoming actors to be casted from auditions across the five eastern states-Umuahia,owerri,awka, enugu and abakaliki".

Unveiling Rilwan Adisa Ologolo, The New Actor Producers Are Now Going For

A star in the making is right now hugging the Nigerian entertainment industry, in the person of multi-talented actor, Rilwan Adisa Ologolo otherwise known as Benzemaa.   He is the first Child of his mum and only child of his Father who died many years ago, particularly when he was 2 year old.   He grew up at Berkley Street, Obalende but he hails from the Ologolo family in Eti Osa Local Government, Lagos Island.  Though he is no longer new in the show business but as the saying goes, a patient dog eats the fattest bone, which is what aptly illustrates his journey into acting. The journey started for him in 2007 when he joined a Drama Club owned by the Vice Principal of his school. Thereafter, his friend who is also an actor, Azeez Ijaduade invited him to his group. Then, Benzemaa was still at Falomo Senior High School, Lagos.   He was there doing his thing quietly until 2013 when he took part in a movie titled Dayanmo, and since then, there is no going back for him.
