Oluwafunke Bolarinwa is one actress who has been in the Yoruba movie genre for about 10years but quietly doing her stuffs. She is also a broadcasting. Her parents hails from Ekiti State but she was born in Ibadan into family of 7 (3boys and 2girls), she had her education from State primary school Mafoluku and Mafoluku grammar school, Lagos before went to Lagos state polytechnic to study Mass Communication. She has featured in over 10 blockbuster movies. For her, presenting job came about 9years ago even as school cert holder. She started with Yotomi TV before switching over to Radio 1 formerly known as Choice FM where she presents Nigba Tiwa programme along side Dapo Osin.
"Well, I have been presenting since 9yrs ago,I started with Gbegba Oroke (Top Chat) on Yotomi TV owned by late prince Alade Aromire and I got to the station via Babajide Moronfolu and Bimbola Salako who happened to be our producer and a big sister then, afterwards, I was presenting with a colleague, Dapo Oshin, who later went to Amuludun Telly to present a programme title kilon Apun and now with Radio1 for Igba Tiwa with him again. It has not been easy but I give God all the glory". "I started acting since I was in secondary school under Yemi Amodu and I have featured in over 10 blockbuster movies which are Ndakobas(D dwarf)an English movie, I was in Funke Akindele's 1st movie Ojo Ketala. My first lead role was in Ehana produced by Femi Adekunle and a whole lot of others. The latest one is Arike To Ta Lenu produced by Opeyemi Onaduja. I may not be that popular like other movie stars you see at all times but I believe my time will come. I started acting long before the presenting interest came and that is why I am back in school to study more about it. I am currently in Lagos State Polytechnic studying Mass Communication". Funke is at the moment warming up to storm location for the shooting of her maiden flick.
