The desire for multiple streams of income is what inspires many successful entertainers all over the world to diversify into other ventures. A notable examples are American artistes Jay-Z and Sean Puffy Combs a.k.a Diddy who have clothing lines, Roccawear and Sean Jean respectively. Also because fashion is an aspect of Hip-hop culture, it is very easy to see the practioners venture into fashion.

Back here in Nigeria, we've seen Hip-hop stars leveraging on their brands to establish fashion lines. Examples are Ruggedman who owns September 20th Wear named after his birth day, Durrella who owns "Toogbaski" a line of snickers, Sasha who owns ECCLETICBYSASHA and so on.

Another notable entertainer who just joined the bandwagon is legendary Nigerian Hip-hip Disc Jockey, Jimmy Jatt. Anyone who is very observant would have noticed that this high-profile DJ who is believed to be the most expensive in the country and has schooled many top names in the profession, has this obsession for Snapbacks, a kind of base-ball style hat with an adjustable back.

He once revealed that he had lost count of the number of the item in his possession. Cool DJ Jimmy Jatt infact confessed that he began wearing snapbacks way back in his teen years to cover his face as a result of shyness and he's been addicted to the fashion accessory since that time.

So, it wasn't a surprise to see this DJ invites his friends in the entertainment industry last weekend for the launching of his own brand of Snapbacks called "D Triple J",(DJJJ) designed for him by popular clothier, Marco Martinez.

Held at the Swe Bar, Lagos, the event was graced by notable names in the industry who are already rocking the hat. Some of the stars now currently flaunting DJ Jimmy Jatt's autographed snapbacks include 2face Idibia, Ice Prince, Chidinma, Lami, Muna, and many industry players.
