SHAN GEORGE LAUDS NIGERIAN POLICE IN NEW MOVIE “FINDING GOODLUCK”

It is unarguable that ever smiling actress, Shan Goerge, is one of the most powerful women in the Nigerian movie industry based on her dexterity in making her fans happy and giving out interesting flicks to them.

As one of the top Nollywood, actresses, there’s no how she will escape scandals and controversies as she has been linked to several scandals which made some of her fans to often doubt her. But as a woman of substance, the Cross River State-born diva may have given all she can to bounce back; especially in this era of younger generation who do not even want the glory of older actors to radiate as usual. Of course, the ever ravishing actress is not attempting to have a fling with the President, Goodluck Jonathan, as her new work suggests but she is at the moment out with another blockbuster movie, entitled, Finding Goodluck, which will be premiered soon. The movie, produced by award-winning Shan, we gathered, is shot because of the state of public disturbance and seeming anarchy being severally occasioned by assassins, hoodlums and kidnappers allegedly sponsored by politicians. The alarm is driving the entire state into fury and incessant strikes; as the governor’s son whose name is Goodluck is kidnapped by some faceless marauders behind the spate of crime in the state. According to the producer, Finding Goodluck, as the title suggests is a heart shaking movie that seeks to highlight the investigative power of the Nigerian Police Force. It disabuses the notion that every police man is corrupt. In a nation where the image of the Nigeria police Force has been battered, Finding Goodluck gives a clearer picture of the risks faced by policemen while trying to unravel the mysteries behind some mind-boggling cases.

The movie which contains all the elements of a good movie viz: suspense, drama, dialogue with a blend of established and budding actresses, we learnt, seeks to address some of the negative issues that have plagued the Nigeria Police Force while proffering solutions for the best way to take the force to another level of efficiency.
