LAGOS ANTP JUDGEMENT HOLDS TODAY
The long years tussle between the elders of Association of Nigerian Theater Art Practitioners Lagos State branch over who the authentic leader is will come to an end on Monday 13 June 2011 at court 10 Ikeja Lagos. In the recent time, precisely last year, there was a lot of mockery and beefing in the midst of Yoruba movie expert when the incumbent governor of the Association Akeem Alimi otherwise known as Ajala Jalingo was authenticated as the government of the union where the oppositions termed as illegal and disputed that it can be which coursed the fracas between them informed the association to split into many caucus before they were pursued out of their regular radio Lagos multipurpose hall that was known as a assembly for their state meetings to Lagos State Art Culture center on Awolowo Road Ikeja Lagos, and sued each other to court of law. Court then make known to them that there most be no election till the judgment come which Comrade Ashalu and his conclaves ignored and went further for secret election held somewhere in Ojodu Lagos and came to disseminate a fallacious news that Ashaolu is the president of the association while Yinka Quadric was called up to have been the winner of Lagos state ANTP governor even though he didn’t contest but information has it that Yinka Quadri then eliminated the offer which generated controversies and give the conclusion of the case extending. We however pray that the judgment should be done in peace as the AGN’s judgment went in free and fair at High Court Ikoyi Lagos by justice Idris.
