GBOLAHAN ADETAYO BECOMES YOUNG JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR


Society reporter of Enquirer magazine Gbolahan Adetayo last week was indeed a happy man as he clinched the coveted Young Journalist of the Year 2011 Award, organized by City Pride Magazine held at Durban International Hotel Omole Lagos. The young soft spoken, unassuming and energetic wordsmith who hails from Ipara Remo Ogun State is one of the youngest journalists; the 4th estate of realm has produced. Having started his journalism career in the year 2008 with Ikeja Agege Area News Magazine now known as Royal Classic Magazine,at the age of 21, towards the end of the year 2009 he joined a notable soft sell magazine called Top Celebrities Magazine as their Nollywood writer before he eventually moved over to Enquirer Magazine in order to broaden his horizon where he was assigned a society column called the Roving Pen in 2010, that he handles up till date. No doubt, He has carved a unique niche for himself in the industry through his dexterity in what he knows how to do best. It might also interest you to that Mr. Gbolahan Ijaghoror as he is fondly called by his colleagues , after his boss termed him a soldier in the industry, as he is always on the move.won the award four days after his birthday.
